It’s hotter than blazes again this week! I am in dire need of an icy cold, refreshing cocktail to end this week. Just so happens I have some Lime Basil Sorbet in the freezer and a super easy and fun cocktail in my arsenal.
You know when your ice starts to melt and dilute your cocktail, it kind of takes the fun out of your drink. Not this time…..as the sorbet melts into the drink and little bits of lime zest and basil float though the drink, it only gets better and better. Isn’t that the way life should be? This is one of the most refreshing margaritas you’ll ever have!
Ingredients:
2 oz gold tequila, chilled
1 can of Squirt Soda Pop, chilled
1 big scoop of Lime Basil Sorbet
1 basil sprig, for garnish
1 limes wedge, for garnish
Directions:
Pick a fun glass and toss in the tequila. Fill the glass 2/3 full with Squirt and plop in a scoop of the sorbet. Garnish with a sprig of basil and wedge of lime.
