Ban the Can! …Canned Biscuits that is!

Life gets hectic and we reach for the canned biscuits in a tube. But once you make homemade biscuits and see how easy and incredibly better they are, you will never go for the canned tube style biscuit again, I promise! This week we learned how to make biscuits and my husband and I ate them for a week and they were still flaky and flavorful as the week went on; not in the least bit dry.

The pastry and baking classes have begun and Chef Foran stresses technique! If you make a recipe once well but cannot consistently repeat that, it means you don’t have good technique. If you don’t have good technique, you’re just a hit and miss cook, and that’s enough to make you bananas for sure! This is what I was hoping for. Technique!

Don’t you just hate it when you flip over your soda can on the carpet, or worse, on your outfit while in the car! Finally a stealth “Sippy Cup” for adults! I love this idea! Usually I find infomercials a creative form of entertainment when you just can’t sleep but this one really grabbed me! It is such a simple solution to a very common problem. You can turn your favorite can drink into a bottle. You just snap on the plastic reusable top and you have a bottle instead of a can. There are so many reasons this makes sense.
